For a less open dial on MMR variants

I recommend Q1646410 and Q1646420, both of which have more substantial dials with smaller cutaways to the movement. Also see Q1646409 which features only two small elliptical cutaways in an otherwise enamel dial. And if you can stomach a heap of yellow go

Interesting!

Based on the pics, the meteorite seems to be adding to the visual interest of the dial, because on the regular version, those parts are plain black. I hope the meteorite pieces are not too shiny. I like this line of watches, even though the price is steep

Roger smith open dial

Well Roger his piece and quite a few others the last decade…. It’s obvious where they found the inspiration I really think the breguet tradition is BY FAR the most amazing watch you can get for 30-40 k And when looking at secondhand value…. It’s just insa

Sweet one

Must be quite satisfying to see the internals move. I forgot the point of that model, was there anything more than the open dial to obtain the research moniker? Sub300 day for me:

My sentiments exactly

I’ve been at that crossroad few times but didn’t pull the trigger (yet) When I first saw that open dial I was neutral to it. On the one hand I liked it but there was something with it that I couldn’t identify. My daughter quickly solved that riddle for me

Thanks for posting this Medicus, Nico. I always found them very alluring...

but I think I need to see this on the wrist to make a judgment. It's hard for me to imagine the feeling of wearing a watch with such a case, let alone the open dial. This must be a VC you either love or hate - I'd love to have it on my wrist someday and f

I’ve seen it

Some time ago a distributor who is also a personal friend had one and showed it to me. My wallet at that time didn’t allow me to purchase one but alas, I’m sure the future will bring one day where I will own a duometre No idea which one. I like most of th

I prefer the purity of the no-seconds piece.

And the legendary automatic movement is icing on the cake. But I wish it was smaller. For such an open dial, a couple millimeters less would have been perfect. The Patrimony small seconds is very nice, and a terrific size, but the subseconds dial seems a

This is an absolutely amazing piece.. Cool, daring & conceptionally young, almost timeless !..

The Titanium + Open dial also render a futuristic appeal. & since I had the luxurious pleasure to wear it for part of a Paris afternoon + the evening with you & yours, it became sort of „engraved“ into my head. - Close to unforgettable, I would even say..
